Mimoza is from Albania and born blind.
It was some years ago, and without warning she knocked at my front door in England and shared her vision of seeking to setup the “School of light” a school for blind children and adults in Albania.
Mimoza’s desire was to give other blind people in Albania opportunities to live ordinary lives and jobs.
With support we supplied computers and donated specialist software.
The picture shows the entire bible translated into Braille.. Mimoza did this with lots of hard work.
The story sadly does not have a happy ending.. The authorities took over the project and in essence. Mimoza was put onto the street. And it gets very cold in Albania…
