Humbled

Last weekend I attended a Shoebox service at St Michaels, Aldershot. It was an amazing time not just for the Shoeboxes but also to meet and talk with lovely folk. A question was asked. How does it feel to recieve a shoebox? Yesterday that question was answered. Meeting a dear lady now collecting shoeboxes, she had recieved one in Eastern Europe many years ago.. I asked why do you do this? She said that Shoebox I received gave me hope & acceptance….. Somebody care enough to do that for me! We often do not see the results of our work, but after 26 years.. It was humbling. Thank you St Michaels
